and the winner is...

it's official-- we are going to be adding a baby boy to our family in december! yesterday we had our "20 week" ultrasound. i am actually 22 weeks, but i scheduled it later purposely.. with reagan, we went in an 20 weeks but weren't able to find out she was a girl definitively until 32 weeks.. so i wanted to make sure that didn't happen again! anyway, my mom took reagan to her house for the afternoon and hayden came along with drew and i to the appointment. when asked, not one person guessed that the baby would be a girl! drew and i both thought the baby was a boy, in fact i would have been really surprised if it turned out to be a girl. on the way we asked hayden what he wanted, a baby brother or another baby sister. "i want a baby brother-- i already have a baby sister!" was his response.. lol. for his sake, i kind of prayed it would indeed be a baby brother for him. during the ultrasound hayden sat so quietly watching. when she told us the baby is a boy, we were able to see pictures of him. at one point, she had a splitscreen up and hayden whispered to drew, "are there two babies?!" haha. what a smart little cutie. needless to say, he is very excited about having a little brother! and drew and i are both happy to be having a healthy baby. :-)
