the smallest details

it is so amazing to see God working in our lives. in just the last few days he has answered our prayers in tiny unexpected ways. on monday i was lamenting our current financial situation, worried that we are never going to "make it". i spent most of the day worrying and went to bed upset. the best thing to do is to give everything to God, and that's what i did. maybe if i had started praying about our situation sooner, i wouldn't have spent the day feeling stressed. but then i also wouldn't have seen his hand working. so i woke up the next morning with a better outlook. after careful budgeting and planning, i felt 100% better! the next couple of weeks might be a little difficult, but there is hope at the end of that! i instantly felt a wave of relief rush over me and said a quick prayer of thanks. what a wonderful God we serve.

and then today. i was expecting to deal with a woman who isn't very kind.. a little blunt and cold. i wasn't looking forward to it at all. she ususally works wednesday, but much to my delight, she was off today! the lady filling in for her was wonderful! so kind and cheery. i know this is something so little and silly, but i was dreading today because of that lady. God even cares about the silly things we care about!
